Ellinoperamata is a seaside area just outside the city of Heraklion, located on the northern coast of Crete. It’s a small coastal settlement near the Bay of Pantokratoras, with scenic beaches and easy access from the city center (around 10–15 minutes by car).
The beach features a mix of pebbles and sand with clear, turquoise waters, offering a quieter alternative to Heraklion’s busier beaches. It’s ideal for peaceful swimming and for those who prefer less crowded spots. There are a few cafés and tavernas nearby, and the area is also known for its lovely sea views and beautiful sunsets over the Cretan Sea.
