Rodakino Beach

Rodakino Beach is a serene coastal area located between Frangokastello and Plakias on the southern coast of Crete. The beach is divided into three main sections: Korakas, Polirizos, and Peristeres. Korakas Beach, the first you encounter descending from Rodakino village, is a gently sloping sandy beach with clear waters, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Polirizos Beach, situated slightly to the west, offers shallow waters and a calm sea, suitable for families with children. Peristeres Beach, the westernmost, is more secluded and peaceful, accessible via a narrow winding road, and is favored by those seeking tranquility.

The beaches are characterized by fine grayish pebbles and coarse sand, with crystal-clear blue waters. Facilities include sunbeds, umbrellas, changing cabins, and showers, with several beach tavernas nearby offering local cuisine. The area is accessible by car from Frangokastello or Plakias, with parking available near the beaches.
