Plakias Beach

Plakias Beach is a 1.3 km long sandy beach on the southern coast of Crete, nestled between the gorges of Selia and Kourtaliotiko.

The beach offers crystal-clear waters and is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, and changing rooms.

The western part of the beach is influenced by the Kotsifos River, making the water slightly cooler. The area is surrounded by mountains to the north and the Libyan Sea to the south, providing a picturesque setting for visitors.
